Rewards Chart Through Heritage Makers

I am a mom of two beautiful little girls. I love them very much but my three year old is testing her limits with me. I have been brainstorming on what I can do. I just created a 18x24 poster through Heritage Makers with her name and flowers on it, so it is cute and visible so she can see it and of course it is pink her favorite color. What I am going to do with this very cute poster is that every time she is good I am going to give her a star. When she gets 10 stars she gets a special treat!
I will keep you updated on what happens!

Recipe Party

A bunch of girlfriends and I got together and we decided to do a Recipe Exchange Party. Now that summer is here and it is so HOT out, nobody likes to cook so we needed some FUN summer recipes.

Here is how it worked:

Everyone brought "summer" dish or drink, like a potluck. I took a picture of everyone's dish, got the actual recipe and got a little "blurb" from everyone about what they brought. Then I took all of it and put it into a "Summer" cookbook. Everyone tasted all of the dishes and then had an option to buy the cookbook that evening for only $16.00 (regularly $20). Everyone not only left with a full tummy, but also knew they would be getting the recipes for all the things they loved!

Here is the really fun part:

We took part in some friendly competition. There were categories set up (like "most delicious dessert" or most "thirst quenching drink") and every guest voted for their favorite. We tallied up the winners and please stay tuned for the WINNING Recipe! YUM!

Christmas In July Specials

I love Christmas in July specials!! This is the time where I can get all of my books and cards at a discounted rate. Usually you don't see prices this low until January. So NOW is the time to buy for your Christmas stuff now. I am all about saving some money! What I like to do is order my cards now and use them through-out the year. I use them for Birthdays, Wedddings etc.. It saves me so much money than going to the store and paying $3.49. The best part is that Heritage Makers will send your cards out for you. How sweet is that!

Good Morning America

All this talk about the Economy and how there is more and more families need to have two incomes to stay afloat is so true. Direct Sales is becoming a very hot ticket right now. It gives moms an opportunity to stay home with their babies and have a successfull home base business. Good Morning America talked about Heritage Makers being a fun and rewarding buisness. They also mentioned that it is really important to find something that you are passionate about because it is going to take work. I signed up as a Heritage Makers consultant four years ago, in the beginning it was just for fun but it has now become a blessing for me and my family.
